FALL 2018
Five of our THMC EM members joined with members from the KM (Korean Ministry) to serve in South Korea for our church's SPARK missions. During this trip, each team member was able to serve the ROK army pastors and ministers as well as a community of troubled youths. The team served through cooking, prepping, decorating, encouraging and loving them. Through this ministry, not only were the army pastors and youths encouraged and able stand in awe of God's love and grace, but our fellow EM members were also able to experience His love.

SPARK is truly rewarding for those who volunteer to serve in the name of the Lord. All we can do is do our small part with sincere love and gratitude.
Through the power of Jesus Christ, the changes you see in the participants over the few days are awe inspiring and will make you want to experience it over and over again.

Serving on SPARK was a different experience compared to the other mission trips I’ve gone on. Most, if not all, of my time was spent in the background.
Working alongside other brothers and sisters, we rarely interacted with the people we served. But to see the joy on their faces, it was a different gratification.
I might not know who I blessed directly and they might not know what we did specifically, but God worked and all of us were left in awe of how marvelous He truly is.
